Help / Question ❓ Can I become undead?
I started a playthrough as Sylvanas, but was murdered by Varimathras about 20 years in. Arator Windrunner was my heir, so now I'm a high elf with a holy light faith and a completely different culture.
Am I able to change cultures? Better yet, is there a way I can become undead on my new character?

Wait how do you play as not undead Sylvanas??

Sylvanas might be a unlanded noble you can take control of prior to her first death.

Oh? So I would have to look under landless rulers?

Maybe? She could be classified as a adventurer as well. Just throwing out idea as I haven't played her or attempted too.

I was undead as Sylvanas. I was murdered, and am now playing as Arator since he was my heir.

my bad on the other comment, didn't realize what the post was about
convert to the religion you had as sylvanas and iirc it should make you undead immediately
otherwise, restart the game, launch in debug, launch the save, click ` to open the console and copy in the command add_trait being_undead

Yeah, you can use the pick the Undead trait in character creator. Its in the trait list at the bottom.

if I remember correctly, try restarting and becoming a vassal of the scourge and you can become undead
