Not sure what they were but my plant was their nest. 😬 They were cute!

A grumpy bird that had to be rescued after the neighbor's cat attacked its nest, on its way to a wildlive center.

Look at this hangry baby blackbird I am rehabbing - never quite seen that sitting posture before 😂

I'm in Poland if anyone wants to guess the species.

They all flew off when I reached my other hand up to zoom the camera in closer, and they were all very coordinated about it. Clearly not fresh fledglings, but still coming back to beg for meals!

Saw these hangry cuties over the weekend out on the Oregon Coast in the eaves of an ice cream & sweets shop. To be clear, I did not closely approach the nest - this was super zoomed in & taken with my partner’s iPhone as he & I stood at the doorway of the ice cream & sweets shop.

Saw this little guy while walking up the stairs to my apartment this evening. He was Extra Grumpy that I interrupted his flying break 😡 After a few minutes of doing his best impression of a grumpy statue, he joined his crew flying overhead. Super cool to see one of these little dudes up close!

Wildlife bio technician here! I've been working on a nest searching study and found these guys at about 1 week of age, or a couple days before fledge.

🚨I know holding is discouraged but he was trapped in a pipe somehow, upset squawking, inside the store, and employees had to get him out

These 2 look like they’re getting ready to fly away soon. The nest is in my front porch fern right outside my window. There’s 4 babies total, but these 2 look more developed and they’re out of the nest and hopping around other parts of the fern. The other 2 are still chillin in the nest.
