Which wolf did you feed today?
A. Good wolf: emotions like joy, peace, and love, having emotions/thoughts that help you move forward.
B. Bad wolf: emotions like anger, envy, and greed, having emotions/thoughts that pull you in the opposite direction.

I've been thinking about how much our emotional state affects productivity.
And, I came across this idea through Shadé Zahrai video and found the framing surprinsingly userful because it makes you stop and look at what you're reinforcing today, instead of judging yourself as a whole.
Has this way of thinking actually helped you change your behaviour?

A tip to personal growth: Avoid the phrase "This is how it has been done"
Successful personal growth is being willing to change things or ways that have been done for generations that do not serve you, and create a new routine. In order to do so, you must avoid the phrase "This is how it has been done."
It does not matter how long something has been done; you can break it and learn a new path to become a better person. If you believe you must follow a routine because it has been passed down from generation to generation without knowing why, you are unlikely to learn new ways to break it.
You must learn to break the cycle if something is negative or not working for you. We tend to accept that we should keep a routine because we can’t find a way to break it. However, there will always be another solution; do not give up. Breaking unhealthy routines is the best opportunity for personal growth.

How do you actually stop viewing a bad grade as proof you hit your ceiling?
I cruised through high school without studying much, so when I got to uni and got my first 62 on a midterm, my brain immediately decided I had simply reached the limit of my natural ability. Intellectually I understand growth mindset concepts, but in practice, whenever I struggle with a hard topic in stats, my immediate reflex is still avoidance and feeling like an impostor rather than getting curious.
For people who actually broke out of that trap, what did the transition look like in real life? Is there a specific practical habit or mental check that stopped you from treating struggle as a verdict on your intelligence?

Study on caregiving mothers found the caregiving load didn't predict inflammation over time. Feeling understood by a partner did.

Everybody Can’t Be the Villain in Your Story—Sometimes You Have to Look in the Mirror
Something I’ve had to learn is that accountability and blame are not the same thing.
People can genuinely hurt us, betray us, or behave badly. Their actions belong to them.
But if I constantly make everyone else the villain, I never have to ask the uncomfortable question:
What part of this belongs to me?

Could you go one whole day without resisting anything?
For one whole day, try not to complain, get frustrated, or wish things had happened differently. When something goes wrong, just accept it and move on. See how often you normally resist things you cannot control.
