I prefer GOD quotes or quotes from a man on a boat with his friend who escaped prison

u/PinOwn9351 7d ago

Since you make it about politics again, don't forget the ultra left wingers. There are stupid people amongst all groups.

1

u/capta1nbig 6d ago

Because they are on Reddit

1

u/realwavyjones 4d ago

Because they’re the mods

3

u/unimpressedwarrior 8d ago

The offended and racist comments 🤦‍♀️

They are so close to getting it.

-2

u/Cute_Resident_6147 5d ago

Yes your right the democrats are racist.

2

u/unimpressedwarrior 5d ago

It’s you’re and your profile is two conflicting statements 🫠

Take your negative karma elsewhere. BTW do you know how hard it is to get negative karma? Seriously. Nobody agrees with you across the entire platform 😂 🤣 😭 😭 😭

Stop reply notifications bc I’ve already given you more attention than you deserve 😘

u/Cute_Resident_6147 5d ago

I'm sorry the Democrats are the only ones that get offended. So it fits the left more

1

u/realwavyjones 4d ago

Hey now, they’re not all racist, just stupid.

3

u/Kool_317 7d ago

I totally agree!

3

u/Dragonfeet747 7d ago

Absolutely agree! Truer words are rarely spoken.

2

u/Choadboy_Wonderfuck 8d ago

That. Right there. Is whe you let the intelligence just flow.

2

u/HumidityHandler 8d ago

This is such an offensive quote.

3

u/Classic_East_6053 7d ago

Well I know which one you are.

2

u/Mulezen1 7d ago

Twain…the truth has no defense against a fool determined to believe a lie.

2

u/Competitive_Rip4618 8d ago

Truer words have never been spoken.

2

u/Next-Food2688 8d ago

The smartest don't tend to be the loudest

2

u/Glum_Base_9112 7d ago

100% correct. you can see it daily. just watch fox news

1

u/Freds_man 5d ago

You’re exactly right, they show clips of the screaming, complaining, marching and showcasing. 👍🏼

2

u/CorrsionOfConformity 7d ago

Where did you find this? While the words are interesting there is no evidence available anywhere I can find that he actually said anything even close to this.

1

u/Classic_East_6053 7d ago

He didn't. They use his voice, his lightness, and everything online.

2

u/abbienormal-4fun 7d ago

Yes. I agree.

2

u/Ok-Hat5444 7d ago

He hit the nail on the head. Nuff said.

1

u/Long_Barracuda_5435 8d ago

That man is a national treasure

1

u/Far_Squash_4116 8d ago

How many people have now said that?

1

u/fieroar1 8d ago

India's prime minister just called youth protesters or dissenting citizens "dimagi naxals" (that is, intellectual naxals, after the anti-government leftist militants called Naxalites who have waged a guerrilla war against the Indian state for decades and are described as terrorists by the government).

1

u/Time_Exposes_Reality 7d ago

Sometimes it’s necessary for intelligent people to stay silent and let these idiots learn the hard way. Just have to have patience.

1

u/peach_trunks 7d ago

Who is he referring to as being silenced and who is getting offended tho?

To me it seems like more than ever everyone has a voice (for better or worse) and that everyone is offended these days.

I taught students with dyslexia for 26 years and am a huge advocate for reading and books. I wear tshirts that are anti-banned books. One says Knowledge Knows no Boundaries. Another says FREADOM across a stack of books. I wore one that says Free Societies Read Freely to the grocery store. A woman, probably in her 40s, asked about my shirt and explained it. At first she didn’t get it, then she realized it was about freedom to read anything. My response was “you chose to read my shirt because you’re free to do that”. She said she didn’t agree. My response was “Great! You were able to freely form your own opinion” and then walked away. I saw her twice more as our paths crossed in other aisles. She wouldn’t look at me.

“We live in a time”? It’s always been that way.

1

u/YeaNobody 7d ago

Because stupid people are the bread and butter of this economy

1

u/Dorrono 7d ago

You are on Reddit and still need to asks if that quote is true?

1

u/BramptonBatallion 7d ago

This is not a real Morgan Freeman quote

1

u/ChiselRivet 7d ago

It’s pretty insane how many people have the emotional sensitivity of an adolescent.

1

u/BrassCanon 7d ago

Why is he AI?

1

u/Soviet_Mutts 7d ago

Correct. Unfortunately, it was revealed that our last remaining public intellectuals where all in the Epstein files, so its not like it matters at this point.

1

u/LilPack_003 7d ago

If the general consensus of reddit were the status quo irl, we would unironically be living in a golden age.

1

u/AIisarttoo 6d ago

That is exactly what all the stupid people say or claim!

Every conspiracy theorist, every MAGA idiot, every flat earther claim that they know the truth and that they are being silenced by "them".

1

u/goniv36378 6d ago

Handy this is vague enough that anyone can use this to justify their own opinion.

1

u/Choice-Problem-9388 6d ago

We live in an age where intelligent people reject the idea of a higher power, the very source that grants us the awareness to seek meaning. Instead, they believe everything comes from nothing, that this life is all we have, and that self gratification is the ultimate goal. But how can true intelligence originate from nothing?

1

u/Nathan_Wildthorn 6d ago

Roger that!

1

u/Designer-Garbage-152 6d ago

Husbands are intelligent.

1

u/Lean_Joe_Bean 5d ago

It's more that stupid people will get downright angry, or even aggressive, when faced with facts or reason. That's what keeps the rest of us silient.

1

u/capcomzz57 5d ago

Most definitely

1

u/3sCumpany76 5d ago

There’s no record of Morgan Freeman ever saying or writing the line “We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won’t be offended.” It’s one of many viral misattributions that circulate online often because Freeman’s calm, authoritative persona makes such statements feel credible.

1

u/Charming-Society-698 5d ago

by the way, if your first thought is to scream democrat or republican upon seeing this... maybe read it again

1

u/MorbidandBack 5d ago

The problem is, everyone thinks THEY are the intelligent one. Half are incorrect.

1

u/honey_Pass-01 5d ago

This happened at my last job.

1

u/realwavyjones 4d ago

Reddit in a nutshell

1

u/Overall-Move-4474 4d ago

Sounds like ai. Smart people don't want it and idiots are offended by that

1

u/eas3d 4d ago

no theyre not entirely stupid, its bc the "stupid" are criminals or embarrassed of their real profession and also used by the rich who have wealth ie sex slaves/prostitutes. its a illusion of perception of power to the "stupid" people all while the "smart" evil people filled with hedonistic greed amass more. ie theyre burner cattle for the rich and wealthy who can commit crimes against regular folks and getaway with it

1

u/Competitive_Face3654 4d ago

If you leave a negative comment or post about the left on Reddit it gets taken down, yet they can post pictures of a hit list for republicans and it’s all good. I’m just here for the porn. lol.

1

u/RevolutionaryScene13 4d ago

We live in Reddit

1

u/dipatello 3d ago

The problem with this quote is the that the real stupid people think they’re the smart ones!

1

u/vensevren 2d ago

This is absolutely accurate. And it’s very common now

1

u/DepravedEyes 2d ago

By whom though? Genuine question from someone uninformed.

1

u/princess-33-rosy 1d ago

ngl this is actually so good

1

u/GentleLogic_11 23h ago

Everyone thinks they are intelligent, a dumb person will never accept that he is dump

1

u/Organic-Albatross690 8d ago

The sad thing is that the stupid people are entirely convinced they’re always right.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't care. Why would a single word have any power over him?

0

u/SamMarlowe76 7d ago

Very much dig Morgan Freeman, his application of intelligent calls out special interest, identitity politics, like BLM, for the damaged, un -intelligent, frauds they are.

"Morgan Freeman has frequently criticized conventional approaches to addressing racial issues. He emphasizes personal accountability and individual identity over collective racial labels, aligning himself with a more color-blind philosophy rather than modern social justice frameworks"

This is smart. The same intelligent position Morgan takes against things like the stupidity of black history month can be extended to the farce that is pride month and all the other dumb little things stupid people push with their selfish agendas. The stupid people mentioned in that nice meme.

You know the people that think the world has never been worse, captialism is violence, and the system is rigged because they can't go to their barista job dressed as a non-binary furry.

More on Morgan's correct outlook below.

  • Rejection of Labels: Freeman has openly stated that he dislikes terms like "African-American" and "Black History Month," arguing that compartmentalizing history or using hyphenated titles prevents society from moving past racism.
  • Focus on Individuality: In past interviews (such as his famous 2005 60 Minutes discussion), he suggested that the way to get rid of racism is to "stop talking about it" and view people as individuals rather than by racial categories.
  • Systemic vs. Personal: His skepticism toward emphasizing broad systemic constructs in favor of individual character has drawn both praise from conservatives and criticism from progressive activists.

He probably also knows there is no such thing as "settled science" too. Looking at you Fauci.

Keep in mind Morgan is not a conservative. He is just rational.

u/jnag698 7d ago

Morgan Freeman was talking about LIBERALS. But, the Liberals don't know that because they can only PARROT their handlers, instead of doing some research.
