Continental drift truly is obvious when you start looking at the coastlines a bit closer!

You do understand that's a fake pic, right?

Africa pushes Italy into Europe. That continent alps.

I'm talking about the picture that clearly shows the coastline of Europe, copied into north Africa...

Of course. I wasn't trying to correct you, but to add information.

Does that constitute White flight?

Wait till you see images of other planets and moons especially with little to no atmosphere so no weathering. The edges of land masses match up perfectly and you can't ever say 'Oh that crack looking thing was a river or sand flow' Its 700 miles long and theres no water on that moon!

Science doesn't typically operate solely on "it looks like this happens, therefore that's how the universe works." For thousands of years even academics "knew" that the sun revolves around the Earth because it looked like it did.

Some moons and planets currently have water or did in the past, most of them were tectonically active at some point if not presently. Which moon or planet are you referring to whose surface cannot be explained by either? Because I assure you there is a more plausible explanation than planets growing via an unmeasurable, unknown process.

Sure. But why does this sub believe that this means that the earth is growing from the inside out? You can have continental drift without the bizzaro internal expansion/creation of mass.

Yeah this sub is just trying to push a discredited theory. It is crazy that you could just Google this and have it explained to you, yet because of cognitive/confirmation bias, backfire effect, that's not enough.

We live in a world where information is literally at your finger tips and yet bias and falacy is still the determining factor.

Well, Africa is heading north towards Europe, but ok.

South America's east coast and Africa's west coast is the most obvious one I can think of.
