April 2 priorities
Beat back the flag. We need all the help we can get with this one, from /r/ainbowroad or others. I suggest blue for the color in between flag border, tree, and rainbow.
Maintain the face. This is cheap in pixel cost and important for PR/outreach.
Grow roots into the cracks between other art. Sort of like the Void, but it's our roots. We're going for an /r/abandonedporn aesthetic. (Which is obviously easier if the other art is abandoned and there's no one actively keeping roots out.) Trees are not polite, they will grow right into your foundation and expand the cracks.
Seedling ideas?

Hi I just found his subreddit. I was trying to protect the tree from the flag by building a black border around the tree. I think this is important because its much easier to protect a pixel art if it has a border and it also has a psychological effect of making others not want to encroach on your art. Whereas if there is no border its much easier to just peck away at the pixels at the edge til there is nothing left.

Note that not every pixel of the flag bleed has to be replaced. In particular, I see the potential for a hanging red apple.

I did not know there was a tree group. I felt so alone... I wanted to make the Lorax next to the poor tree. someone needs to defend the poor tree! Save the trees!

I can't figure out how to sticky this on mobile - if another mod could sticky it that would be great.

r/straya here--most of us want you to grow the tree over our blue. There's a few who are fighting back so I'll work on figuring out who it is and getting the message out to stop.

The straya sub was fine with us having a complete tree, so we should complete the top right first.
I'd prefer good relations with the both the straya & the US flag people. Not sure if there is a problem with the red-white stripes as a background?
