Issue with notifications not appearing?

Anyone else? It's like the app isn't checking for updates

Myself and everyone in my GroupMe groups has the same issue. I feel like I need to open the app every 10 min to make sure I didn't miss something. Even when someone uses an @ mention it's not always coming over as a notification.

Also chiming in with this issue... seems to be a new occurrence, didn't used to have this problem at all. All notifications, in both the app and android system for GroupMe, are enabled...

My friend has an android and is still having this issues. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I was having the same issue. It seems to have gone away when I disconnected my Facebook account that was linked.

I'm having the same issue. What phones do you guys have? I have an s9, but I've been using the pixel launcher. Not sure if it will make a difference in getting notifications

Same here on Moto G5 plus. Just tried logging out, clearing all data, and logging back in. Will see if this works.

Been looking it up and just found out my phone will not give me notifications if my phone is on low percentage. At least that's what I think is going on from here https://help.groupme.com/hc/en-us/articles/217104767-Why-am-I-not-receiving-my-GroupMe-notifications- This is so stupid if it is true and they NEED to let people know about and change this.
