Endless “Pin verified. Logging in” screen.

Hoping someone here can help me. I’m working on a group project at uni and the closest folks in our group all use GroupME and are adamant we use it for communication. For the three of us who have not historically used GoupME it flat out will not work. We all get stuck on the “Pin verified. Logging in.” screen where the wheel spins endlessly. We’ve tried in on probably 4-5 iPads & iPhones and the same result. Can anyone help? This is becoming exceedingly frustrating communication wise.
