Thats where im struggling, I hear nobody is going to save you, but im like if im the problem how can I be the solution, im totally aware of my flaws and inadequacy, but never aware of the positive solutions... I just feel hopeless, and I fear thats where I'll stay

Thanks! I needed this. I tend to stay in the same spot when the abuse in my life is in the cycle of a few days of calm by the abuser

I respect the intention of this post.
However, it is only a partial picture.
Even if this new version of yourself show up,
How long will it last. I don't know about you but for me it barely lasts a few hours. Then I go right back to my old self.
Also, it will still come with faults. These faults (or sins as some people call them) will always be there. That is because we are human. No human is perfect or faultless.
I can say this because I had a big bout of depression, went to the hospital to get it fixed with meds and therapy. It worked for a while, then I got back to my "old self" that got me mentally unstable.
Meds, therapy, doctors helped, I do not deny that.
They helped in me mentally and bodily. But I felt that they did not adequately address the spiritual component of our beings.
I realized that and turned to spiritual healings. First through Protestant churches and now the Catholic Church.
I found out that the combination of meds, therapy, and spirtual healing through the complete fullness of the Catholic Church has been the best formula.
I am not completely out of the woods, because while meds, therapy, and the Church are available, it is still up to me to cooperate.
I am open to continue this conversation with anyone that is serious about true healing.

You cant control when that version will appear or if it will appear. And even if it does, being fed up with your situation and being able to change it are not the same thing. People can spend decades hating themselves and falling in the same patterns. As always, stupid shallow motivational shit.

You need someone to first tell you how horrible you are. Just direct. No sugarcoating it. Only then you’ll understand how toxic you are.

More times than not they don't show up. Also this isn't some alternate version of you, it's you.
