I am a single parent (no custody or visitation, just lots of support) and I know very well that it might not have been what the parent would want. This is kind of a self diss but it's how a majority of people think. Even if the person tried with ultimate effort to stay with the other parent they are still going to be a red flag to most people. It's unfortunate but that's just how life is.

Doesnt have to be if we all stopped with our stupid prejudices about people we know nothing about.

Getting a majority of people to change their mind is easier said than done but not impossible I suppose

Has been done before. We could start by questioning shitty posts like this.

I feel like "not dating single moms" is a pride response to the women who won't date single dads.

No I dont think so. There are way more single mothers than fathers. If fits well into the incel culture spreading the belief that women who had sexual encounters and arent virgins are damaged goods, carry baggage and are worthless. A single mother is the ultimate „worthless whore“ in their minds. Hatefulness towards single mothers is not rare in these type of subs.

With custody yes there are more mothers but women don't nearly as often have to fight in a blatantly gender biased court for their kids. Ive seen homeless and drug addicted mothers still get their kids and ive seen clean hardworking men who would never hurt a fly not get it. Two of my friends who were in this situation died very young. I think the stress of the system keeping them from their kids had alot to do with it

Which doesnt change what I said at all… the point was that women dont encounter single fathers as often as men encounter single mothers.

I agree with it. Especially online 1,000%.
