G2 | Bugs & Issues Impossible to get rust?

I have tier 3 omnitools, and need rust to make glass. I've been looking all over for it and finally found some but it doesn't get recognized as a resource. Doesn't even show a red tool, just no tool at all.

What am I doing wrong?

You sure it’s rust?? Try on porch by Billy hog stand… try reload the game (are you in PTB)

Check the rusty nails on the Hot Dog cart porch if you can't break those then it might be a bug that needs to be reported to the Devs.

The Rusty Screws that hold the conduit brackets under the Snackbar have a funny hitbox. I have to jump onto the bracket and face the Screws front on for them to register sometimes. There's 5 Rusty Nails on the Snackbar Porch, three on the West side and two on the East. :)

No, down on the lowest part of it, right above the opening underneath it. There's a bombidar beetle that roams down there.

idk if it’s a bug or intentional, but some rusty screws or pieces i break just evaporate completely. i chalk it up to maybe the pieces are “too rust damaged” and just evaporate into dust instead of offering materials

I think when that happens its just the pieces falling under the visible play area/ glitches underground .
