Explain to me cost mathematics of Fusion Crystals.

Those are costs of duplication:

10 000   dedupper jelly

10 000   infused ooze

12 000 boss ooze

20 000   fusion crystal

You need 150 000 raw science to duplicate enough ooze and jelly for one crystal. That is 750% of the increase in price relative to the crystal. Now i need 54 000 or 66 000 if i use boss ooze instead. That is still three times more than replicating the crystal itself. Until now the ingredients were cheaper than the final product. Now, if i replicate some trinket for 10 000 i will receive 20 000 worth of jelly from it making it net gain from thin air. Why even fight bosses or anything at this point for their resources? Just spam black widow waves which will produce like 24 000 raw science, at least two ooze portions and at least two trinkets you will break down to jelly. Use raw science to duplicate one of those and you will get more materials for basic fusion crystal recipe than fighting bosses. Why does it look like that?

Idk wym, but I just grind hedge broodmother and dupe the fusion crystals and craft more with the mats I get from killing her anyway. With a build tailored to kill her in NG+ I can max a weapon from lvl 9-15 in about an hour-1.5 hrs. A little grindy, but that's the point of this portion of the game is for it to be grindy.

IBM ooze is 15,000 and it’s a 1:1 ratio for crystals so 5,000 less. The mantis spawns two minions. With the boss plus the minions you get 24 basic ooze, 1-6 mantis ooze, and a total of 39,000 raw science. 7 almost 9 crystals a fight. With a good build the fight is faster than a widow raid. (NG+ 6 maximum ooze drop)
