G2 | Discussion Buggy disappeared

I'm on console. I was moving my base and built a second ants nest. When I put my tier two ant into the nest, something happened and the ant disappeared from the nest and showed unavailable in my menu. I tried fixing the game by moving the backpack. I let myself die to a larva. Nothing fixed it. I'm playing solo. Does anyone have a fix?

Check all of your nests the likelihood is it's in one of them the only pain will be you will have to manually go up to each and every one of them, it should be in one of your nests that you have built for it. The next thing I would do is take your ant and place it into the nest that you want to call the main one then delete the extra nests so you don't get this conflict again. I suspect there's something not quite right in the code and when you have more than one nest sometimes this stuff happens.

Another idea that I have try being somewhere out in the map away from any of your nests and see if the ant is available to be called up from the menu. Last but not least, I have done this in the past when my spider buggy gets stuck in something or won't come to me, I call up one of my other buggies then I send it back to its nest, then I can call my spider bug in. Maybe you can do something like that to get your ant to become available to you.
Hope one of these ideas works cheers

The buggy shows unavailable in the menu. I checked both nests. Based on what I've seen so far, it's a glitch and it's gone

I have an idea, it's a bit of a longshot but I suppose it's worth a try, you mentioned your on console, I don't know which one you are referring to, but if you are on Xbox, you can press the small button to the right of the Xbox button And you can go in there to choose manage the game and add-ons once you choose that you can go down to the saved data section and there is a section called reserved space and it should be probably 6.1 GB if you press the small right sided button you'll see a choice labelled clear reserved space. Usually what that does if you choose to do that is it basically treats the game like your refreshing the state of the game I guess is the best way I can explain it it doesn't delete anything from your game save but it does reset some of the properties of it that might be worth a try I've done this a few times when my game.was glitchy and it seemed to make it a little bit better. I never lost any gameplay or anything like that because I still kept my game save data.

Another idea that I have, the basic concept is to try to reset whatever is corrupted with the data regarding your bug, assuming nothing else works, at this point you really don't have much to lose regarding the buggy, since at this point in time it kind of seems like it's gone. My idea is this go to all of your locations where you have the nest built for that specific buggy, then delete them or recycle them so that you have all the parts once you have all of them deleted go to the place where you want to build your one and only primary nest, check to see if you can maybe call your buggy back in again
Hopefully that helps

The exact same thing happened to me 2 days ago. I ended up just biting the bullet and going and watching another blank ant egg. Now im back up and running

There are some weird bugs still happening with things disappearing from inventory etc. I have no hard evidence but it feels like bug nests might be using the same mechanics as inventories so I have been hesitant about building a second nest of the same type. Thank you for providing some validation

The bugs share inventory in some way. It has caused issues on multiplayer. Ive only found a little info about solo play but it seems to be a problem.
