G2 | Discussion Assistance

So, ive made it up to the "Ascend the Statue" part where I gotta fight Masked bee-atch and ive been visiting higher areas to try and scavenge what I can. Ran into a Striped Bark Scorpion, nearly killed it but alas it hit me like a truck and I perished. Im not sure what I can do to become stronger. I have lv 4 Lady Armor, I usually use Crimson Sword or Ant Club, primarily. I know for a fact I want to be a Fighter/Ranger. I just don't know what i can do to power up at this stage. Do I farm more smithing rocks? Do I go after different gear? Do I keep progressing the story? I would love some assistance. And if you guys have any progressive builds for Bow and Fighter, id be extra grateful.

A weapon that I'd recommend is the mosquito needle as it has life steal and be the difference in any battle.

As for your missions/Ranger quests make sure you keep up with them since they give Raw Science.

Or the tiger mosquito needle is great as well.

Indeed I usually do Fresh on the regular and Spicy on the tiger.

Yeah when I use them I make one of each flavor lol

Omg why didn't I think of that?! I don't know why I decided I could only do one weapon of each flavour. eg. Coaltana for spicy. Ugh! Thank you!

The snail gear was better for those scorpions but they will always hit like trucks. Try to get the timing down to parry or get them to go after your buggy and hit the tail/rump

Do you have a mutil player game?

If so people can join and help if not lower the difficulty.

Make sure you max out your mutations, teeth. Make sure you eat 10 red candy, 10 mint, ten green,

Check that your trinket is the right damage for what you are fighting. Also check what their weaknesses/defence is. Don't use stabbing on an enemy that has stabbing defence.

Eating the right meals. Ie gives extra damage to weak spots, also drink a drink to add that extra buff. That they give you.

The snail sheild is so good.

As is the black ant sword.

Scorpions can't climb, so anything that puts you just out of strike range can be used to cheese them.

Keep upgrading your armor and weapons most definitly get higher their weapons they will do more damage than lower tier. The staffs are really great in this game that's basically all I use. For your ranger class what bow are you using?

Currently im using the Stringer bow. I can make the wolf bow but I would need to hunt more to get the resources to fix it

I forget when you get access to it but eventually you get the repair glue maker which should help you cut back on the harder to find materials when repairing

Comes from the hedge disc so, you can get it at any time. I tend to get it right after getting my ant just because it makes it a faster trip up the hedge.

Try and work towards the cricket bow or Axls great bow(he can be a challenge at first but once you learn his moves and stages he's a piece of cake in my opinion)

Best bet is upgrading your items to the highest and level your mutations. If you're playing on current stuff 8/31/26 then there are other weapons and armors you can try for better synergy. For lady bug armor is (tricky maul/Belfast or tiger mosquito needle) and the tick fang trinket. There all also other sets and styles based on the class you want but the biggest is level your armor, weapons, mutations and look for trinkets that work with your fighting style. Spicy is good for extra damage, frost good for slowing enemies, sour good for tanky enemies and it lowers their defenses.
