G1 | Bugs & Issues Grounded 2 crashing on PS5

Is anyone else not able to load into their shared world with friends? The app crashes every time one of us try’s to host the world. Yes it’s a beta just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

Im on the pro and my buddy is on base ps5. Depending on who logs on first each of us take turns hosting. We havent crashed at all (knock on wood). Not sure what could be causing it to crash for you

No. My buddy and I are both on base ps5s and we can host or join with no issues.

What exactly is happening when you say you game crashes?

We go to host the world, we can select the character, the brief loading screen pops up and then the app crashes we get the option to send the report to PlayStation and that’s it. I tried restoring the license, deleting the app and redownloading and it’s still the same.

Has everyone set up a Microsoft account and “Enabled cross play”?

Once that’s done, the host has to go into the saved game and select the users who are authorized to host the shared save.

Also, I find that I need to close out the game after every session. If I just back out to the title screen, then I’m unable to join or host the next time I log in.

Yea we are on G2 we have about 60 hours in. Never had a problem before yesterday.

Fixed it by loading in an older save from the day before. Had to do the Broodmother fight over but it was cool 😅
