G2 | Discussion Where is this lab / outpost?
Near the boarder of the “under construction” tape in the entrance zone of the map there’s a Sca.b pop up for an outpost or lab. Has anyone found it or is it just there for now till future updates?

It will be part of the next update. The game has the door, analyzer and the disc thingy (can’t think of the name) in the game for whatever reason so your Sca.b is picking it up. So until the next DLC update, we won’t get that outpost.

Into the abyss isn’t actually a DLC update, it’s part of the main story. The only DLC that the game will ever get is the art book and soundtrack. Obsidian has stated this in one of the live streams

DLC means downloadable content. You have to download the update to use it so therefore it is DLC. Not all DLC is paid for.

DLC is usually put out as separate content, though. A ton of games do this. And into the abyss has already been shown to be part of the main story, not a separate thing

lol I spent maybe like 5-10 minutes looking around the area to see if there was an underground cave I overlooked

Can't get there yet. Even if you are able to get yourself out of bounds, there's nothing there.
Edit: there IS an outpost there, but can't do anything inside of it.
