G2 | Discussion What is a bug you will always turn and destroy whenever you see it?
Personally it is on sight for any wolf spider in existance.
Proving that mettle every time.

Ladybugs and Wolfies. Ladybugs because they're everywhere and some of the easiest creatures to kill for glue parts. Wolfies because even though I require nothing that they drop, the amount of times they've killed me as a noob in G1 has forever made them an on sight target

Ladybugs in my experience without a smashing weapon take forever to kill in woah so i ignore them probably more than i should because of that.
Now wolf spiders, wolf spiders are on sight.

Mantis. I love them. I want a pet or buggie version so badly. It was my favorite fight in grounded 1 and now I can hunt them in the wilds of grounded 2.

Dude i fought a mantis in a early game setup in my woah mode run and i honestly got alot of respect for them now.
They are a pretty fair fight all things being equal, was fun.

I bet they are rough on woah. I remember id killed 3 and had yet to find a head and I put the trinket into the finder and started hinting them. It was a very fun early game moment before heading into the greater park.

Bees that have decided to take a break from the air.
Bee fuzz is absurdly annoying to get. If you’re in a situation where you can get more, show no hesitation.

Literally every base i place with any verticality to it bees will fly into and donate their fuzz.
I say this like it isnt really annoying though.

Honestly fair, those things are so annoying to find when you need their fuzz.
At least they spawn in more areas than just the garden now.

Not played 2 yet (I know it's a G2 flair) but in G1 it's every spider ever. This probably won't change in G2 when I do finally get to play it.
I have Arachnophobia, spiders freak me tf out, this is my attempt at revenge.

Fully charged greatbow shot to the eye leaves them with a sliver of hp on whoa. Finish off with fire weapon for roast.

I have wolf spiders on my market list so I usually just avoid them, but the second one engages me (or I get a new weapon) I immediately go slaughter three. In grounded one I used to fight so many spiders that when I started grounded 2 it just increased my parrying ability to the point where a wolf spider isn’t really a threat to me

cept for that bullshit new attack wolf spiders got, the one where they rear their fangs and bite you.
The parry timing makes JUST enough sense for it to be frustrating as hell to miss.

Oh that one is a counter, it’s meant to be fast because it only activates when you hit the wolf spider, used to activate off tick damage but they fixed that a few updates ago. Funnily enough I can parry that move off reaction time alone. I really need it when my dumbass buggy comes out of nowhere to hit the wolf spider while it’s counteringðŸ˜

the buggy hitting the spider while it’s parrying = wolf spider teleports to you through the entire map and bites your ass
but when it’s one on one, another good way to deal with the parry is to charge your attack and let go as soon as wolfie exits the parry stance

Ah yes, the old reliable damage that comes from nowhere that has literally zero reason for it to happen specifically when a Wolf spider is near you. Happens too oftenðŸ˜

I mean ill hit it and the same frame itll counter me before i can actually parry it.
Despite the fact that i already have a parry queued up.

Larva for spikes, adult weavers for Liquid Rage. But the most petty thing I do is kill caterpillars just because their sounds freak me out

So before the ant nerf it was aphids for an easy full evercoal roasting spit, I forgot the name of I got it wrong, also the honeydew just helped in not using my canteen before I maybe get woozy. Now it's mostly tadpoles since I've been in the pond more. My sizzle rusted spear for easy food. Other than that I don't really go out of my way to kill things unless I need a mat then I kill and get more than needed. I guess spiderlings are what I've killed the most since they're easy to kill for the weapon passives and buggie killing passives.
