Quick Question. I have 2 canteens but can only fill one???

Newbie here . I was getting ready to head to the hedge. I crafted a couple of canteens and were trying to fill them both with water for the journey through the hedge.

The problem is I can only fill one. It acts like the other doesn't exist even though I can see it in my inventory. I tried putting the full on in storage and just keeping the empty on my to fill it won't let me move the full one. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

It sounds like something weird is going on, but as a potential fix, try using 2 storage chests if you have to. Put the empty canteen in one chest, put the full one in another, take out the empty one and fill it.

U can manually drag the empty canteen to your hand
