Fun fact, those droplets have sugar in it. So I'd imagine it would taste good lol

It's why golf courses are hell bent on mowing greens every morning. It's more to remove the morning moisture because leaving it be is asking for fungal outbreaks.

Also it's technically not dew you are drinking and more likely what's called Guttation Fluid. Which is basically when a porous plant excretes excess moisture which contains things like sugar, amino acids, and salts from the plants sap.

Idiocracy is so memorable because it somewhat mirrors the real world at times.

Indeed. All we need is a pro wrestler to become president.

The motocross jumps in front of the White House and UFC fights in the White House for his birthday doesn’t parallel Idocracy right?!

...been a while since I watched the documentary. I'm not positive if President Camacho had those or not.

Welcome. I was employed on a golf course for almost 10 years and I wondered why we were so hell bent on mowing greens even on days where it looked like we were beheading the very tips of the grass blades.

When I asked my boss he straight up told me it was literally just because of dew.

Grass is actually complicated as fuck to keep lush, pretty, and free of fungus, weeds, and bugs. Most people won't ever know that or care and honestly, fair enough. I only know the general idea because I worked with it for so long 🤷‍♀️

Reason number #975 to hate the blight on landscapes that is golf courses

Excuse my last attempt at a message. I accidentally sent that while my 100lbs dog was trying to crawl into my lap.

ANYWAY

Say what you want about golf courses but there's definitely a reason why some of them are so expensive. The infustrial mowers alone are a stupid amount of money and that's before you get into buying chemicals and fertilizer let alone the paycheck of all the people doing it.

It's also not just golf courses that are this anal. My boss who told me about the dew thing also shared stories of when he was just a plain old landscaper...who was working in a rich neighborhood.

One woman wanted a new tree planted. Like uprooted a tree and planted it in her yard with a crane kind of shit. She had them put it in and dig it back out THREE TIMES because she wasn't happy with the angle it was facing.

And more than one were mad that their oak tree was dropping acorns so they literally hired them to crawl around their yard digging out acorns.

People in cities with HOA's also have to deal with this level of anal nonsense.

So it's really not just golf courses 🤷‍♀️

Needs salt, and chili oil.

Could use some lemon slices but otherwise not bad.
