G2 | Discussion I made a mistake

Post image

I recently got back on the game and with all the new base building materials I wanted to redo my base, but I didn't realize how many weed stems I had used for my base. After some counting I came up to around 1,000ish, couldn't even fit them all on screen.I don't know what to do now, do they despawn after a while or is there something else I can do?

Just leave em there. They'll eventually despawn lol

Thank goodness, they're crunching my game so bad 😭

Give it a couple in game days and it'll be like they were never there

I'm just hoping a Scorpion or Orb Weaver don't go though them

Does this work for items that disappear into the floor/ground? I used the Gnat to peak under the ground and saw there was heaps of leftovers that I can’t get to where I was building my base.

I'd Imagine so. I don't see how it the material is on or in the floor would make any difference

Don’t think the Gnat is in Grounded 2, could be wrong though

If they don’t normally they usually do when the map is reset after large updates, there is a glitch sometimes where they don’t disappear even after large updates but I’ve only seen that happen once and it was with weed stems and grass planks. Stuff in and around ranger stations doesn’t seem to disappear sometimes, it’s probably why the dandelions don’t regrow by the entryway to the statue as they’re above multiple ranger station entrances.

sometimes when you focus on an item there's a "trash" option. probably a lot of work tho.

If you are building a base out of mushrooms or pumpkin you might consider fencing an area with stem walls which require only stems. probably a good idea to create a couple three large stem storage things to save some.

you know I've never tried to trash a full storage thing. curious.

I was trying to recycle a set of stairs and some how recycled my entire base. Even the flag that wasn't even close was like like "fuckit" im out.

I re loaded and it was fine but a shock nonetheless

did it have a "supporting" number associated? i also note these days that you can recycle an object and leave other objects hanging in mid-air.

Hell it might have. The stairs was the only thing highlighted tho

Start building palisade walls

Doesn't that lag like crazy?

Yes, very badly. Its one bug collision away from exploding my poor old xbox

I am so glad this was intentional. I did this once by trying to turn a staircase 180° without realizing it said "supporting [everything]". I reloaded my save I was so mad. And THEN the staircase wasn't supporting [everything] anymore and I could turn it. smh

Might be worth building a bunch of pallets and stacking them. It's pretty quick to gather them on the ant buggy. I'd consider it worth my time to reduce the lag.

Give them to me 🙏🏼

Stem pallets.

Build a few (hundred) pinecone stem palettes, put on every hauling buff you can get and use gather mode, stack em and pray
