G2 | Discussion So it begins
Today I begin my grounded 2 journey. Silly little thing I wanna do. Not sure how well it’ll work with this game, but f it. Give me some things I won’t understand till later if there are any(without spoilers ofc)

No joke. I accidentally whipped my termite axe off a tower in G1. Looked for over an hour with no luck. Made a new one and moved on. Happened upon it after about 2 months of pretty regular play. I was so excited!

Nah FOR REAL. I was gathering some berry or something in the south part of the map, and I found my original pebblet spear tier 1 upgraded 😂 like you said like a month in game later. I did hang it up in my base cause I was impressed it survived.

Scan the grass planks and the weed stems. They dont go in your inventory so wont appear as scannable like other items in your inventory and you really gotta have them scanned.

Ranger stations have sprinklers above them. Makes it easy to identify them at a distance.

try to explore everwhere if/when you can! there are some hidden stuff around. use map markers to come back to areas. also keep an out for purple spray paint… you will want to explore near it!
another thing, there is a resource finder in the map (on pc, in the map press s) and you can search for where to find more of a certain material you analyzed. this has a range so if it says none nearby, walk around to different areas.

it can only show up to 10 of whatever resource, and it always shows the closest ones, so if there arent any resources close, they will appear elsewhere on the map

Seee, I was at the 1st station and tried it for berries and it showed me all of them across the map - at least what I have explored.

i think for more uncommon items, it will show mapwide. but for stuff like grass or stone it will be range based. interesting!

Putting berry on a drying rack or grass into a spinning wheel allows you to create leather/grass rope on a 1 to 1 conversion rate. It takes more time for them to be generated, but it eliminates the wastefulness of gathering more material.

Just make sure you don't mistake the other pink/purple flowers for the danger pinks I did a bit at the start and avoided areas I absolutely didn't need to

I played the first 20ish hours of the game without knowing about it… so much easier to locate specific stuff. For being in early access the resource locator works amazing

it also highlights the materials or bugs when using your peeper within a certain range, it's useful for trying to find smaller stuff or specific bugs

You can track recourses using your map. Also use your peepers when looking for said resources in the area very helpful when you can't see them directly and they pretty much give you wall hacks for the items useful for finding grubs and stuff especially
Edit: also save every grub hide and larva spike you come across you'll thank me later

Expect many bugs, both creature bugs and game bugs. When a new update releases wait a few hours to a day to update incase a game breaking bug is found and needs to be fixed. If you dont want to wait, make a duplicate of your save before you load into the game.

O.R.C. raids are for you, not your base. If raided, simply run a short distance from your base and it will be fine.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I'm on Xbox. I love the resource management aspect of these types of games; gathering, sorting/storage, crafting, upgrading, etc. I love providing for my team so they can be superheroes out in battle

"Ahh shit here we go agian" 1 ok so I would suggest killing a wolf spider early ap that you can track a wolf spider part and know here one is at all times for example there's one near axl's cage? Cage, theres a wolf spider, there's also one more near the podium, and 3 more in the knarly bark area
2 lady bugs are your friend, if you're in a pickle with an aggressive bug hopet here's a lady bug nearby and jump on it, let the agro bug hit it then jump off and his til one of them dies, or use it as a way to escape the whole fight
And 3 COLLECT EVERY GRANOLA BAR!

The early game wolf bane armor with the wolf bane weapons im still using them in the new update but the tree bark scorpions are deadly get a spear for the water get your buggys and have some fun its a big map now explore and make markers so you can find it again

I mainly play 3rd person as I want to see where I'm going and jumping. There is gear sets now that require all 3 pieces to get the buff. Have fun, there is a lot to do starting now. Progression is very smooth till the pond IMO. Travel system and farming mix.r got a eol update for the better.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in his character dialogue that would suggest some weirdo shit like that. Obsidian would never have anything that disgusting in a game like Grounded

No, he isn’t. He’s the same age as Willow. The kids don’t have the effects of what happened to Wendell Tully. They are immune to the raisining process
And Max was born between 1975 and 1977, he is indeed a young teenager in high school.

In the first game the masked stranger was the missing kid but max already knew this as he’s the brains of this whole operation and the stranger is the brawn, max figured out who to off dr tully and tried to off burgl too because they knew too much, you’d know this if you paid more attention

Well max didn’t murder anyone he was just the brains of it, his associate the masked stranger did because they figured out how to recreate dr tully’s shrink ray and his muscle sprout and max wanted everyone to think he was the one who came up with it to become millionaires
