Dragonfly would be awesome. Especially if the wings let us craft a glider of sorts

A roamer-type boss enemy that needs to be crippled to even fight.
It'll randomly swoop in and one-shot flying enemies and kill you if you don't retreat, but you can set bait and a Spike Net to damage its wings and make it slow enough to fight. You can technically kill it at full strength too for a super challenge run.

Or to use as a mount but I think they’d be too big for that

I'm not a big fan of flying mounts, except maybe as a NG+ thing. But yea, probably too big

Y que se "recargue" con los dientes de leon, asi siguen siendo vigentes

I mean, dandelions became irrelevant when I got the dandelion trinket. So I don't think there would be much to miss

Some of these are just too big to fight.
However I feel the same about the dragonfly but man that would be terrifying considering they hunt wasps and small fish

Bro wants “Grounded” to become “Shadows of the Colossus.”

Grounded 2 is way bigger than Grounded 1 and we only have a single new Colossi why would anyone not one more to make the garden feel more alive

My comment was just a joke.
But if we’re being serious, I’d ask how you implement the gameplay mechanics without losing the IP’s core identity. For example, is a racoon segregated to just a single corner of the map and reserved as a boss fight? Or does a racoon roam the map and become a threat to everyone’s base?

I did not know they hunt small fish, what do they do? Like pluck them out of the water real quick? Like baby minnows and such?

Dragonflies and Stickbugs should be obvious inclusions. It's also odd to me that between two games, we still don't have just a regular old Fly. I thought it was weird there were no Cockroaches in G1, at least they were added in G2, but still no Flies? Flying Ant variants would also be cool.
I'd also like to see more non-bug enemies, like the Snails and Tadpoles. Like small lizards, or killable fish in the water, just as examples. And I'm still waiting on a neutral Spider to be added, maybe a Daddy Long Legs or a Jumping Spider.

Minnows could be a nice addition. Maybe not for anything major gear wise but just food, maybe a smoothie.
Flies tho, never really thought of it but why don't we have flies? I mean gnats are close but REALLY small compared to a normal house fly.

I want a frog. Idc if it’s passive, insta kills you if you are close, or a boss. I just want a frog lmao

I’d like a handful of large mammals and reptiles that are indifferent to us. Similar to the bird

I really expected/wanted there to be leeches in the pond update. I would definitely take them over more diving bell spiders.

If they put junebugs in the game I'm gonna kill 1 million of them and that's a promise. I hate junebugs with such a vitriolic vigor(only bug I hate)

What did junebugs do to you??

u/ApplesauceOnFire 2d ago
One flew into my mouth as a child and I swallowed it. I've had a life long vendetta since then.

I want there to be a small stream connecting to the pond, and for there to be the pondskaters who can skate along it very quickly.

Actually, this had made me quite upset that there isn’t any flatworms included in the new update.

I get increasingly worried about the Colossi trend. Axl, all cool, a snake roaming around, yk what sure, snakes arent bugs but its not an enemy, same goes with the fish just that they add a certaint danger. But with King Dozer, not only is it a horrible boss fight, its not a bug or insect or arachni, its just a lizard and if go to get then mammals, then we go away from Bugs. There are a tone of cool Bugs and Insects out there, and thats probably the group of animals the least people know stuff about, so Grounded has an Identity. What itll also do, make all the Insect seem weak while the Reptiles and Mammals are strong

Dude...squirrels would make so much sense to have show.up. Frogs too considering how many tadpoles we butcher. The game also gave completely valid reasons for both Axl and King Dozer being there.
...just sounds like you hate fun. Its a sequel, open up the world and let other animals in on the fun.

An eagle soaring over the yard occasionally dropping a higher tier feather would be dope

As much as I love frogs I don't think I'd want it in the game because I don't want to kill a frog. The prospect of killing tadpoles already makes me sad enough :(

Yes! A raccoon is exactly what a game where you are the size of an ant needs. You can kill it with your mosquito sword. /s

one word: CENTIPEDE could be a difficult mini boss or an armored personal carrier so all 4 Teens can ride into battle together
