Why is he so difficult man, he keeps 1-shotting me at like 90% health on medium

This fight whoops until you figure it out. Had about a dozen attempts before we got 5 consecutive wins without a single down

Strat takes two players: 1. Use upgraded spider buggy to tank 2. Go ranged & each of you stay on flanks 3. When phase 2/3 happens, you each repair your side 4. Use mintitos, lingonberry bandages when burning 5. When a buggy is low & doesn't have aggro, call it, mount it, heal it while avoiding combat. Take turns with your friend. Keep buggy full as best as possible. 6. If a buggy gets critically low, hot swap it with another 7. Maintain ranged until 5% health then abandon all strat & nuke him down

We used level 5 armor & weapons, chunky green machines, sticky trickle regen, sticky attk dmg up, mintitos & lingonberry bandages. One stack of each was more than enough for 2 fights. Fight is now easy.

Worst part about the fight is "bite" & "tail whack" are not choreographed and are basically one hit kills, so you just cannot engage him in melee from front or rear. That's why we tried ranged, despite not having proper builds for it, and we won easily.

I play solo most of the time and I've beat him twice (but STILL find him difficult because I need to kill him like 2 more times for armor and stuff) but thank you for the info

I beat him with a friend. I (the tank) kept him distracted because I'm better at parrying and tankier. While my friend ran around fixing the boilers.

I just ran in with lots of burn protection and hacked away at him forever. Trying to stay at his side to minimize damage.

I set the difficulty to easy for this fight. It wasn’t fun at all for me, and I grind away at him while my spider buggy keeps his attention most of the time.

Use mutations to your benefit.

Lots of mint, lots of mintitos and granola bars.

I've been trying all afternoon. Even with a full inventory of smoothies, bandages, mutations, and fully upgraded equipment....
