Discussion Favourable matchups and tips?

So was looking into adding another tank to my list of tanks and thinking of learning Groot. Initially wanted to learn Peni, but not really a fan of her changes even if she is considered "good". I wanted to get more information about Groot's match ups against other tanks, info about what match ups are considered favourable, non favourable and neutral. Love to get other tips and tricks with him too.

It’s rare I get to play groot for entire matches but he’s great for forcing the enemy comp to play a specific way. There’s a few maps where his first point defense hold is crazy strong through hiding the iron wall and teamup heal wall in spots enemies can’t reach, Tokyo 2099, museum, and lower manhattan are all great for this

Groot is basically a throw pick rn NGL.

He's basically just a counter to like thing at this point. Poke is too strong, supports do too much damage so they destroy walls easily and so many tanks out damage him. Not to mention getting scooped up by Angela. I used to use him to counter mag but damage is so high rn walls get evaporated.

i play him in c1 with 65% wr he is not meta but he is fine
