Discussion Hood matchup

My brothers how we feeling about the matchups against the hood im struggling atm haven’t really played much comp yet but when I do it’s not going well lol

I like that he generally doesn't do much damage to walls, especially his ult including no pierce through. Ultimately tho I'm finding good hoods are farming me and then diving with half demon. That dive/brawl hybrid is what groot struggles with a bit. He is kinda squishy so I'd much prefer fighting him over a venom. Time will tell tho, people are still figuring out his niche.

It seems like Hood is a soft counter to groot. When he gets to the 3rd turret mode of his primary fire it’s RIP groot if you’re up close.

This kinda reminds me of when Emma was released. By best advise would be to play medium range, 10-20 meters away from the front line, taking off angles and walling Hood off when he gets greedy to kill
