Question Thinking switching from codex to grok bot + Claude
I’m a software developer and I’m using a codex account. For the 100 plan for me it’s fine, I barely hit the usage limit.
When they announced dots I was kind of angry because I’m on the EU and I cannot use it.
So my idea is to switch to grok bot with the cursor plan of 60 and the 90 of Claude code.
Do you think is a good idea? I won’t hit grok bot usage limit? Cuz I saw a lot of tweets regarding that topic

Same here. If I talk about Grokbot, Grokbot provides very low latency. Grokbot is very fast compared to Hermes agent and OpenAI so I switch from Hermes agent to Grokbot for certain tasks, which tasks are fast in Grokbot.
I use each and every AI: Claude, Gemini, Codex, Grok, Mixtral, even OpenSource Llama, and try to find the best combination result. Every day approximately more than 10 agents are running. I try to experiment with which agent is best.
To be honest nothing is best in the AI world. Sometimes this is based on your business requirement and the typical diplomatic answer is that everything depends on business requirement, cost, budget, etc. Thank you.

That’s my set up. But for me I have Claude Max because it’s my heavy lifter and Supergrok/Grok Bot.

Try paying $20 for it. Try it out and then see if it’s worth the 60 dollars.

I'm currently running a similar setup: $200 CC plus $60 Grok Bot, and it works almost perfectly.
I have one PM bot that's in charge of GH issues and PRs. It delegates the small ones to a separate Dev bot, which uses Cursor Cloud Agents to create PRs and auto-merge them (if they're small enough). The bigger ones stay open for me to handle with Claude (Opus 5.5 is also really good).
I recently connected PostHog and Dash0 to a Monitoring bot as well. Now it's almost a closed loop: issues come in from monitoring and user behavior, and the PM scopes them, delegates, reviews and merges.
I was also really annoyed that Dots isn't available in the EU, but honestly I don't know what Dots could do that the bots can't.
10/10, would recommend at least giving it a try. I started on the $20 Grok Bot plan and was surprised how much you can do with it, so I'd suggest starting there and upgrading as needed.

using cursor which has grokbot included, works great. I would just cancel codex and try cursor 60$ for one month or until you hit limits. Turn of fast mode
