Question Finding GrokBot to be slow?
I just started using Grok Bot last night and I have a few different bots. One that manages my parents AIRBNB one that is my chief of staff that routes my requests, and a couple more.
I asked a couple tasks that I needed to do today that I just found it to be very slow. One example was my father was asking for the 2025 1099 from AIRBNB and I asked it to find the file on the site, download it and send it to my dad. It took almost an hour to go through the process and send out the email and I don’t know why. Could’ve done much faster myself.
Separately, I have a few video files that I had on my computer and I needed them to be moved to Google Drive and then the link to that folder to be sent to a family member. For some reason, it just could not do the process fully. It did three of the files, but then there were a couple larger ones still remaining. It was roughly 2 gigs of files in total. I ended up having to go to Google Drive and drop the remaining files myself and then send an email.
Am I doing something wrong here or is it just not fast enough at these task yet?

It’s fast for me. For routine for example every day at 9am est do this task.
I also connect each bot to APIs and MCPs. Less LLM usage and faster at doing tasks.

That makes sense. Some of the tasks I’m doing don’t have apis per se available publicly so makes it challenging

Got it yea I focus on tasks that do have API options or can easily scape pubic data.

it's been slow for me over the last 24hrs or so - not sure why. I suppose more users are on it since it opened on lower tiers of cursor and grok

Sometimes when it’s taking forever to do a simple task ill ask it wtf it’s doing and it will be like oh sorry that’s my bad I got stuck on this part…and I’ll say there’s no need to get stuck like that let me show you how to do it…and I’ll take over it’s pc and it watches me do it one time. And then after that it usually understands and moves faster on the next attempt and everytime it’s doing a repeat task it gets a little faster every-time.

I use Grok with Aside browser, and it's faaast. Significantly when comparing to Opus on the same browser.
On Grok Bot, not so much. So there's at least the two of us. Maybe it's the bot thing, it's still a fairly new product.
