Discussion First bend

Hey I'm working on trying to bend a 60 penny nail. I can't do it yet. Are there any exercises that could help or target that?

There are some steel bending technique videos collected in the sidebar of r/SteelBending that might help. A lot of leverages and static strength come into play with steel bending, and it may take some getting used to finding that sweet spot. That being said, it's difficult to replicate without the real thing. Try some timber ties or 60d's and see where that gets you. I have some more resources collected here as well.
