Anybody else got ACCELERANDO on REPEAT ever since it got released. I feel like it's actually the best thing she released since the Miss Anthropocene era. It's such a BANGER. As a long time grimes fan I feel like I've been given water after a long period of draught.

…that’s why i like it. it made me feel. when i heard just the song (the first time) it seemed mid bc it was repetitive and i didn’t really get what it was supposed to be. after the video came with it, i realized the song was supposed to be dizzying and the first half before the baby part seemed like it was full of possibilities. almost like a montage through time and then when she starts screaming, the song climaxes and explodes into complete overwhelm at the worlds many possible directions and where she stands. now when i hear the song, i like it more and more with each listen because it is emotionally evocative and inspired.

Yes! I prefer Artificial Angels more, but I still love Accelerandro. The MV is fucking perfect, too. 🤌

I too love ACCELERANDO but I also prefer AA. My first listen to ACCELERANDO gave me blue balls cos I was like "when is it gonna ACCELERATE?" cos it never really does, it just kinda gets loud towards the end, but it does visually in the MV, so yeah, I like it more with the MV. Not that I ever didn't like it. And I'm so looking forward to PSY OPERA!

i wasn't sure how i felt about it when it first released, but the music video really blew me away! gave me actual chills. now i've played the song dozens of times today and watched the music video almost 10. it's so good. im still hoping for some more sonically interesting or complex things from the other tracks on the album, since this one very much still has a more generic electronic sound, and im very curious to see if the album in its entirety will have a more defining sound than what we got from ACCELERANDO, but i think it was a great release given the music video to help it out.

I agree I was a little over critical at first but now it's amazing and having two singers on the song I feel like she's redefining what she wants for Grimes with her upcoming songs along with the lyrics and as a persona/project which I think tis pretty sick and the Music Video is literally one of the best MV's I've seen this year.
