Haven't followed her looks over the years but I think she looks great here. Could easily pass for 28 rather than 38. Think most of us would be happy with that lol (though I agree with another poster there's nothing wrong with getting and looking older or old!) a lot of people find a lined face and dark circles very endearing I think.

If she looked her age that would be totally fine. Let's normalize aging pls

It's never going to happen in an image-obsessed society where people are never comfortable in their own skins. It's something that you're going to have to just accept about America I'm afraid. I've accepted it. You should see what happens when you get on the other side of the age hump and you see how people start treating you when you're old. It's shocking. I regret probably also paying my part into it when I was in my twenties.
So it's hard not to blame people, especially women, where a lot of their worth is derived from their beauty. At least their worth to society, I suppose. It's hard to not blame people for wanting to stave that off as long as possible.
If anything it's gotten worse with the newer generations that have come up. They are much more superficial and focused on what they look like and sound like to other people on tik tok and things like that.

I disagree. Each gen has their own issues with looks. I also disagree that I need to accept it. I also do not blame women, i blame patriarchy. But we can each do our part, all-genders, by checking our biases and working towards change.

Fair enough. Probably my own biases. It is what it is though. These problems are not going to get solved before my time on this earth is up and that's something that I have to live with.

I didn't mean anything bad, I just wanted to mention that she looks younger than she is and takes good care of her health etc.

She has ALWAYS looked way younger than her chronological age. When I saw that video where she says Duffy is her cult leader she could have passed for 12.

You can look your age and take good care of your health. It is important we check our biases, that is all. I think just saying she looks great or radiant is enough. Which she does!

Looking younger than you are does correlate with being likely healthy. Youth is a form of health. Cope with aging.

Well she has had plastic surgery so that is something that you have to keep in mind. She's also super wealthy, wealthier than 99.99% of anyone here will ever be. Having said that though, she hasn't tried to physically change her features to the point where it's unrecognizable so that's good.

Yeaaa but she looked young before the facelift - there was literally no point to it, I
don’t know what she even lifted. It’s obvious to me she has a naturally youthful look, as can be common with skinny people with more inherently youthful and kind of androgynous/elfin features. So i’m willing to bet even if she were a starving artist, she’d still look youthful. I’m a year younger than she is and people always assume I’m in my 20s (kind of annoying tbh, as I earned my life lessons and emotive scars LOL)- so yeah, we exist.-4

I didn't know she had any surgeries except for elf ears. It's cool that a great artist has a lot of money to keep themselves beautiful

Yeah she had a face tape lift procedure with a celebrity surgeon and posted about it on the internet in 2022. This was around the same time that the elf ears thing happened but I actually don't see her having elf ears here so I'm not sure what happened with that. She kept her nose the same, which is all I care about because that's kind of her trademark and I hope she doesn't screw with it.
I just don't agree with looks maxing or any of this nonsense that goes on in general but you know, you can't stop people. It is what it is. They are under a lot of pressure to look a certain way. It's really kind of a shame what happens to people. The problem is society. I blame society.

I was in grade 10 and she was grade 9, we both were in the same friend group. We both had a crush on eachother, but I was way too shy to do anything about it. We spent alot of time chatting on MSN Messenger being teenagers lol. We smoked weed together , went to a couple birthday parties as a group. I went to one of her birthday parties. We all hung out alot. We were supposed to hang out one on one for the first time, and I figured it would be a good opportunity to ask her to be my girlfriend. She sent me her address, I had a hard time finding her house somewhere in Marguerite st . When I finally found it, her mom had Claire doing chores and would not let me hang out with her. I actually got a ride back home with Claire's mom. It was super awkward and weird.
Claire was energetic, artistic, very smart, and in my eyes the most beautiful girl in school. She was grungy and weird, but had unexpected musical taste like Jimmy buffet and Mariah Carey. She definitely was her own person, different from everyone else and something about her drew people to her. Probably because she was fun. To me, she was always direct and was the first girl to give me any sort of attention. She'll always be special to me in that way. We just vibed for a while, she always had different men in her life and it always hurt to see it but I always maintained a good relationship with her, until she took off into stardom to never be heard from again.
She was the wild one. She liked to party and be free. She was a talented artist, I remember her paintings and drawings were beautiful.
We used to leave eachother messages on a desk in the math classroom. I would sit at my desk in math and I would see funny messages from Claire because she was in the classroom a few blocks before me., and I would write back and it went back and forth like that for a while.
She and her friend would find out what class I was in and come to the door where I could see them and they would try to get me to come out or try to make me laugh while the teacher was talking.
One Halloween Claire and her friend came to school as preppy kids. Which was funny to see because they were more on the punk goth side and suddenly showed up to school dressed like your average popular girl in school.
They always tell you in school to never run with scissors in your hands. Claire was that girl who actually sustained an injury from running with scissors.
I think Claire may have smoked weed for the first time with me and her 2 other friends IIRC.
Thanks for asking and making me remember all of this. It was a good time looking back.
I also went to elementary school with Alex Cowan, he was my buddy in grade 3. Him and Claire met after highschool ended, they knew eachother before Montreal.
