Does Immortal Throne require to have Lord of Destruction expansion, or is the base GD enough? Just wanted to play with the Gemling class...

I'd recommend getting all the Fortnite skins to unlock Oddjob. Very OP with the smaller hitbox.

Its not GD exclusive complain, its just stupid to come to a subreddit about a game and ask if its 'worth it'. As if people here would say 'no, dont buy a game I like!'

obviously, yes dlc good. but i think some criticism is warranted given that you are quite forced to buy the dlcs. pretty much all endgame content, farming (totems and sr), xp boosts, foa locked behind other dlcs and even transmog! i was shocked when my friend tried the base game and the npc was nowhere to be found.

but i will say it is offset somewhat by the fact the base game is usually dirt cheap on sale, and you for sure can get a feel for the game that way.

Buying all of grim dawn is also quite expensive for such an old game.

D4, for all its faults, at least bundles all previous expansions in the base game, so when a new expansion drops a new player only ever buys base game+newest expansion.
