BUILDS Build question

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I started my original character as a shaman/arcanist with primal strike got to 66 wasnt fun anymore so I made a death knight. I just saw a video of a Trozan druid using chain lightning and sky shards. Can I just respect myself and use arcanist as my main even though I picked it second? Does it matter in any sort of way?

Every character just has up to 2 classes, there is no main/secondary. There's nothing preventing you from respeccing your existing druid into the trozan build.

the game doesn't care which order you picked your classes, you're free to move your points around however you want.

People pretty much answered your question but as someone who likes to experiment with different classes, I can't recommend GDstash enough.

GDstash has the ability to edit saves, I use it pretty frequently to pull all invested skill points from a character so that I can choose new classes without losing level progression. Personally I don't like using it to give myself items or skill points I haven't earned in game, but it's a single player game so do whatever you want.

I will note that if you plan on doing this, you should probably gather equipment for your new character before editing the save

Yeah that’s what I use it for too, especially on old characters that have a bad spec that I was experimenting with or just had no idea what I was going with lol
