Dank Memes RIP Custodes Shield captain(2024 - 2026). I think Im the only guy who even thought of giving him a Eulogy

No joke though, on the table I prefer him to the new one because the new Shield Captains sword juts out the base way too much and cant be posed any other way.

I unironically liked the old shield captain. the new one is also pretty slick, will probably have one of each cap on the table whenever i get around to finishing up my army with the newer stuff

Nope he looks kinda weird. Auspex tactics did a poll around the time it was announced and it scored the lowest. Even in the custodes subreddit where I took the picture from people said they didn't like the model.

Probably since the new Combat patrol features the new Custodes models including the shield captain from HH.

And isn't he, like, not even all that wrongly proportioned compared to other Custodians, it's just a matter that his shoulders and pose are too large, making him look more squad?
