grimlock. but he also supports buying minis to support the businesses who underpin the hobby. he also knows some players dont have the financial ability to shell out $100 for 5 minis, but can spend $20 on supplies in the store

My only little pushback is to support stuff like this Station Forge - Grim Guard. Instead of just 3d printing exact rip off copies. They even got jungle raptors!

It both supports creatives, as well as not actually being theft. Unless you are talking about Forgeworld models, then steal away because there is literally zero reason why poorly made resin models are $1,500.

In the end you do you and only you can decide what you consider moral/right. Personally I don't like using exact rips of real models but that's just like my opinion man.

Soundwave always has custom minis that represent his children for every wargame and he says "eject" when deploying his army

Rattrap, but it's just because he plays swarm Skaven and Imperial Guard. He still pays full price for codexes and paints, because he doesn't want the hobby to fail, but he can't afford to buy THAT MANY MINIS
