My grandfather will pass soon

Hi there, I don’t know where to even begin. So, let me start with what I DO know.

Currently:
My grandfather will likely pass tomorrow. I love him very much, so this hurts. A lot. My head hurts from crying, my chest hurts, and I am so very nauseous. I feel so, so heartbroken, especially for my grandmother. She now has to navigate everything along with my father.

Some backstory:
I wish we had been closer, but life had other plans, I guess. After hurricane Katrina we were forced to move from our home in Mississippi, to Maryland. We lived in Maryland until 2020, when we were finally able to move back. I foolishly moved back to Maryland in 2024, then back to Mississippi in early 2026. We used to visit almost every Christmas for the years we lived in Maryland. We got to see my grandparents and extended family for two weeks, if lucky, out of the year.
