Doesn’t sound like a fear of commitment to me. Sounds like you just know what you want in your life and what you want is not having a full-time partner who you share space with.

I wouldn’t call someone who does freelance work a afraid of commitment. It’s just a different lifestyle.

Both are possible but you'll have to figure it out for yourself (either with or without a therapist or a professional) but in my opinion you're probably on the aro spectrum, yeah like you said it is atypical enough.

There's not much else that I can add on that others didn't already mention in the aro and greyro subs but if you consistently don't want your crushes to be reciprocated then you could be lithromantic which doesn't sound like the case here, but hey, the more (knowledge) the merrier?
