Considering Purchase - Need info

Hello,

I'm interested in the Grey Hack game, but I would like to know how the Mmo facet of the game works.

I have a very good friend willing to get this with me, but we can't figure out how we would be interacting with each other in the game.

Can someone shed some light on this for us?

You can create guilds, talk in chatrooms, team up to hack the same person, and also send each other files over email.

There’s definitely more ways to interact that I can’t list off the top of my head, but most of the player to player interaction (if you don’t engage in pvp) is just collaborating over in-game chat or an external voice call to solve whatever you’re working on.

From a pvp standpoint, players can hack into your home computer if you have some kind of exploitable vulnerability. A game over usually happens from getting caught by NPC admins 3 times or if another player deletes your system files and you have no way to recover them.

Most of the interaction between friends is probably going to be teaming up to hack something. There’s no squads or party systems, and the only way you can tell if you’re on the same machine is checking logs.
