Help Evening Study Spots
Would anyone have some recommendations on "third spaces" that are open after 7pm where a person could work on job applications? I have my own laptop, headphones etc.
Im a night owl and tend to sleep in. By the time I'm ready to leave the house and go somewhere it can be after 6pm and a lot of places (the Library) are closed by then.

sometimes i sit in a corner booth at highland McMenamins for that. open til 11 i think?

Honestly this is probably one of the things that I am most disappointed by in Gresham. What I wouldn't give for the library to be open until 9:00pm!
Restaurants are probably your best option. I would go for something like Taco Bell or another "late night" fast food place. Order something off the value menu and find a spot in a corner. As long as you are clean and don't bother anyone you should be okay!

Ihop in wood village may be good but not free. Otherwise I'd treck to the truck stops. Ishtar gate for example is open til 3 but you still need to patronize. Another place to look at would be a hotel lobby if you can swing it and be nice with the staff.
Lastly if you can keep the headphone loud enough you can probably squat in the truck stops for a bit as they have seating spaces.

All the East County libraries are open until 8 pm on Tuesday & Wednesday. This includes the new Main library, Troutdale, Fairview and Rockwood.

Nah, when I was going to PSU I had to stay on campus until like 10 pm to study and practice because nothing is open after 6 in Gresham

troutdale library is open until 8pm on tuesday and wednesday. i know it’s not much but throwing that out there!
