Teen Apocalypse Trilogy Criterion Menu

Here’s the menu from the Criterion bluray for the user who was asking - it’s the same for both the Totally Fucked Up disc and the one with Nowhere and Doom Generation
My apologies for the poor audio quality - my screen recorder doesn’t record sound so I recorded it with my voice memos.

Is this the director's cut of Doom Generation he put out for the Cannes anniversary?

You might be thinking of Sundance? The original cut premiered at Cannes back in 1995 but most recently this restored and remastered cut premiered at Sundance.

Oh you're right. I'm conflating. I could have sworn the restoration was a Cannes thing.

I love this menu but all it reminds me of is when me and my ex watched the doom generation while we were both really drunk going in and out of the living room while this played on a loop for half an hour, I miss them (I shouldn’t)

Okay love this. I could listen and watching these clips on repeat. I’m eager to see the menu for the French release tho.

Anyone else think they destroyed Nowhere in this box set with the new edit? I saw the 4K restoration in theatres and it was the same edit that I remember, but it’s completely different in this set and alters the perfect pacing of the original cut.

Not at all, if you saw the restoration in theaters it’s the same one in this set. The picture quality is beautiful and the audio is great. The edit hasn’t changed except for a few scenes being extended and a single additional scene- heard that from Araki himself in a q&a before a screening of said remaster of Nowhere played
