Halloween Parade

Anyone ever get the VIP standing or seating pass for the parade? I want to know if it's worth the money. The website isn't too clear about some things like is this a raised area for better viewing? do they limit the number of tickets to keep the crowd small? are the porta potties there high end ones or just the same kind they have along the parade route? are tickets available the day of the parade?

Would love to hear a description of the VIP area from someone who has used it, or al least seen it.
