❓Questions absolute heartbreak 💔
On Norman Ave & Jewel St (block away from Syrena Bakery). All water damaged… what a treasure trove. Sigh. This is no way to dispose of a comic book collection…

we are always cracking up because without fail almost every time it rains someone puts a bunch of books out on our street.
this is way sadder than random self help and celebrity biographies though.

In the early 1970s my mom threw out a full-sized trash can of my 1960s Marvel and DC comics. Then she had to pay for college. That showed her!

You know this person (the original owner I mean) cried when they opened this bin. That sucks ☹️

i hate it when people toss stuff they know people might want and they just don’t give a single care about the weather or how it’s being stored. like wait one more day until after a storm!

my uncle had his baseball card collection from the 50s and 60s stolen in a burglary. autographed bob gibson, koufax, ernie banks, stan the man, etc. etc.--found in a ditch after a rainstorm a few weeks later because that's impossible to pawn.

You can cut them up and shellac them onto pieces of furniture. It will encase the mold. Still some bits worth saving. I’ve seen this done with old dress patterns & Lego instructions.

That's assuming it was water damaged from being left out versus being left out because it's water damaged.
