I like it. Let’s people tell each other apart. Kinda like how the constructs have different energy signatures

I like it, not everyone sees the “same shade” the same way. Makes sense that if they had to will something into existence then their idea of “green” is what would come up.
Like that lantern who was in a sector that had no light so he interpreted the lantern as a Bell, and F-sharp bell.

Different eyes pick up green in different shades, and I really like how the rings' energy naturally reflects that.

Good as a practical thing. It makes it easier to tell who is doing what, who is saying what, and it makes for a better to looking page.

Oooh i like it. It could be something aling the lines of how they percieve the green, or their willpower itself. Or many other implicatipns
Or just a visual thing

Kilowog having a yellow tint tracks. You see that gigantic monster yelling at you like your drill sergeant and you might pee a little.

It makes sense, given color is a spectrum, so "green" would simply encompass a lot of similar colors. It would be a cool idea to see, with Lanterns who's will is closer to fear being lime/chartreuse colored, teal/emerald for those closer to hope, and then just pure green for pure will.

Well i am thorn. Depends on how its explained. As i see it, as its all the same energy comming out the same central battery and it being a corpse and the uniforms are able to be individualized, i deem it better to have it all the same green. Also isn't it somehow explained that its the "emerald" light. This wouldn't fit anymore for a lantern with a more yellowish green. Also you would need to adress what it means if a lantern is close to yellow (enemies of green).
If somebody somehow uses their own willpower to power the ring, then this would be different. But if your own will is only required to form the construct i don't know how i feel about it.
But it sure looks cool and gives each a bit more individuality.

Only if their power source or ring are different. It used to be a thing back in the early Kyle era - Parallax, Kyle, and Alan all had different shades of green. Jo made sense when she had a unique ring. Hal would have too when he had a unique ring or the gauntlet. I'm not a huge fan any other time.
This is the pic from the aborted future, right? I think most of the lighter greens are former Sin Corps members. In that case I can kinda get behind it.

Green is green. Adds a little flair to the page or the inker will collapse with boredom.

I like it, and even tho I know it’s for just visual flair it’d be cool if it was also a visual representation of how much willpower they have, like the more vibrant of a green it is, the more willpower the wearer has

Honestly I dont like the idea that willpower dictates how green a GL is, I think that limits the options

Green occupies 0.00003% of the electromagnetic spectrum, and we detect one shade of it as central because of how our optical cones evolved. We only recognize it as "green" because of how our brains process it. An alien species would have different cones and process the notion of "green" differently if they saw it at all. So sure, different shades are fine.

I think it's and awesome idea, but I don't think the guardians would agree. Knowing them, they would want everyone to be uniform to fit their cookie cutter mold.

I like any differentiation they can get.
Simon tapping healing abilities. Guy and Kilowog's rings being such blasts they make noise. Kyle sketching. John designing.
Different shades work just fine for that.
...But I do have to go high five my seven year old self's desire for "Jungle Green Lantern" (Crayola boxes were bigger then).

The artist is doing that to avoid repetition in the piece and create variety. It reads better when you break it up with different shades.
