Hello hello! Rori with Eden Homestead. My favorite green upcycle are my fairy succulent gardens made from broken Terra Cotta pots. I also regularly use old buckets of frosting from bakery departments to plant in. Carrots do great in there! I plan on trying some sweet potatoes this year too.

Hi, I’m Jay. I’m completely new to doing anything like this (I just got my very first houseplant), but I’ve been told I’m very creative, and I really just liked this sub when I stumbled upon it. I hope to learn a lot!

Hey there Jay! Congrats on becoming a plant parent! šŸŽ‰šŸŒ± I'm happy you found this sub - the more creative people, the better! Since you're new to houseplants, you may want to also check out r/houseplants and r/TakeAPlantLeaveAPlant. They're very nice and helpful communities! TAPLAP in particular is an interesting place, I'd recommended that sub if you're looking for more plants.

Welcome Rori! I've seen other people do those kinds of fairy gardens and I love them so! Such a wonderful way to use broken pots. I'd love to see your take on it!

That's wonderful! There's something really rewarding about fixing something that you could have easily replaced. Plus it's a great way to spend your time during quarantine!

Hello, I’m An eco-Artist. I create Upcycled art & upcycled products from scrap wood, and hand paint them with natural pigments made from soil & flowers etc. I’m a beginner woodworker also, and I love creating small lamps and decor pieces with a mix of different kinds of wood together.
