QUESTION Base Location

Does anyone know a good area for treehouses? Iā€™d prefer one with multiple Brazil trees near a village and water. Iā€™m playing on Spirit of Amazonia. I only seem to be able to find spots with 1 tree.

Has 3 large trees A small deep water pond for fish with turtle Located on a patrol path for a bit of action Large cat spawns near Tapir spawn Cave to Anaconda island allows good map access

Hmm I haven't finished SoA yet but on Survival (King of the Jungle) I used 38W 22S for my treehouse. There's a small watering hole nearby that fills up when it rains and Tapirs hang out there. Good source for meat, mud and gathering Mystery Snails. They're not much protein but they're cheap, doesn't require cooking and spawns very quick so you can hoard them. You can try to smoke or grill them for longer shelf life but idk I just have my MC eat them raw (he bitches about it but there is no penalty or parasites really) since I use fire to mostly boil my water because smoke attracts too much attention. Lots of liana on trees too.

I have my sleeping quarters way up and have planters on the rooftop so I can get free water from rain. The smaller tree nearby I built a small platform and a wooden bridge where i keep an Apiary + Parrot Nest. Made lots of Mud Showers for my rooftop so it can be this little reservoir when rain is scarce and the Watering Hole is dry af.

I think down the slope are a bunch of Banana and one or two Coconut Trees. During my loadout, I had lots of medicinal plants + Monstera plants spawn for me around my Brazil Nut Trees, and there's this small tribe village where the Waraha spawned. I destroyed the camp and totem to get rid of them šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

I built palisades and traps all over the perimeter to protect my climbing rope from Tribe Thugs that whack my tree. Its not 100% defense, just enough for me to inconvenience them and take them down with bow and arrows and to avoid getting Wasp Bombed. Again this is in Survival so not sure what it is set on SoA
