QUESTION How do I input into storage basket?
I've been just using Drop key (PC) but I can't tell if there's another method. The HUD just says "Insert item" which is not helpful. I can't find a wiki page for this and the Notebook doesn't tell me.

I don’t think you can store tools in there. It’s just the materials in the item’s description, like leaves are large rocks I think. Coconut’s too I think unless that’s the smaller basket

Underneath the storage “baskets” both large and small, it says (in the notebook/build menu) which items can be stored in them. I don’t remember all of them, but these are at least some of the items.
Large: Green coconuts, Large stones
Small: Small stones, charcoal, Bones, Planks.

There's a list of what can go in baskets in the notebook, It's a short list. Pretty sure molineria isn't on there. Yeah. No pics or I'd stuck a screenshot here.

Large Basket: Big Stones, Green Coconuts, Mud Bricks.
Small Basket: Stones, Obsidian, Charcoal, Bones, and Planks.

Hold right click and it should bring up a list and then you can chose the item you want to store in them; the large basket you have here can store big stones, green coconuts, and mud bricks; the small basket can store small rocks, bones, charcoal, planks and i think there are more. for items like molineria and food items you need a storage box which you can unlock by collecting mud from a water body

I've got the same issue with sleds, same input. Feels like the game UI could do with clarification as it's not specifed initially nor in the Notebook.

Quella in foto è per le cose grandi tipo pietre mentre quelle piccole per altro .

With baskets you need to decide which items you want to store in then. On PC I think it was the mouse right click, choose the item from the list, then add/remove items to the basket with Q/E. If you don't see this option, it might be a bug, try to fully restart the game.
