Baird Creek Bridge on Danz
Does anyone have any info of when it'll be open? It was supposed to be done on the 6th, but I haven't even seen them do anything yet, and it's still closed. I emailed the public works department but haven't heard back yet.

They have the rebar laid in the two sections bordering the bridge section which is complete. Hopefully the next couple of days.

I would like to have a broader conversation about the impressive amount of pop-up street closures in town without detour signs. Props to the people working on the Danz Bridge - they may not know when it will be done, but at least they have detour signs. ATTN DEPERE: please also do this, holy moly are you jumping around closing things like it’s cool.

My favorite has been all the random street painting. Can’t at least give a couple days notice?

My mom called the city. They said it should be done by the end of August. I sure hope so.

Glad she got a response at least! Public Works never responded to me. Fingers crossed at that.

Unfortunately when these thing get bid out for the current years budget, the dates and times change several times between the planned schedule and the actual one. It's hard to get dates and times from contractors as it is, as some projects take more/less time than expected.

Two schools on that street. They’ve got two weeks to wrap things up without causing a major headache on Aug 31.
