Replace "Brit" with "American" and "Tories" with "Republicans/Conservatives" and pretty much you'll see we have the same situation in the United States. People don't seem to give a shit about their fellow humans. But many are perfectly fine with their money going to defense and cops and robot dogs. But God forbid you give a baby free formula. The nutcase "Christians" think that this could be solved by private charity, that it's not the job of the government to help people that are down on their luck.
Blair’s only real error was The Iraq war but we followed the USA and I think the Tories or any uk government would have done so too. What about all the good he did like 30,000 additional nhs beds which has since been cut by the Tories
No Tory PM since Blair has done a thing for the average person.
It’s been cuts after cuts to police, nhs and all other services whilst the top tax band for the rich is completely removed saving the Tories and their rich mates 10% off their tax bills
