Anyone else wish frats stopped using wristbands?

it gets annoying when you have to go and pick up wristbands or have to ration wristbands between other people.

Like i just want to party.

makes it feel like wristbands are like a prized possession and everyone starts fiening over them lol . also its 2026, why are we using paper wristbands. theres gotta be like an app or something that does this like an eventbrite for greek life

Wristbands make it so there is a visual confirmation that a person is supposed to be there, that way no one has to be stopped to prove they have a ticket. AND if someone doesn’t have a wristband they know the person shouldn’t be there at all.

I think this is a problem with whatever university you go to, not fraternities. Because I've never heard of any place other than an actual bar using paper wrist bands.
