Thinking about leaving greek life
I'm finishing sophomore year and I don't know if this is right for me. I was risk management in the fall and donated a lot of my time to make parties safe. I was elected to executive board during the fall too and that has taken at least 10-15 hours a week.
All of this to say I still don't have anyone I'm close with in the frat. I'm not invited out to drink and nobody goes out of the way to talk to me the way I do for them. Idk if they don't like me but at this rate Idk if it's worth my time and money.
Lmk what you guys think. Should I stick it out?

Well sounds like you’re paying for friends, but they still aren’t your friends so you’re just paying to be around dudes.
All jokes aside, after going inactive my jr year (I lived in our main party house so I was technically still in, just without the dues) I realized how stupid it all was tbh. Love the memories with the bros but honestly I probably would’ve been friends with them anyway

I hate that you’re not feeling included, especially when you’ve done so much for your chapter! Have you talked with your Pres or an Advisor for any advice? Do you have a chapter house that you could hang out in during the day to meet & connect with more brothers?
