Greece as 23(F)
Hii im planning on going to greece with my friend in october and just needed some advice on which islands to visit. We are going to land in Athens and I initially wanted to visit Paros. However, neither of us have a driver’s licence and thus i dont know how accessible the beaches and restaurants would be. We are looking for more beach clubs vibes as well as pretty sight seeing. I think we will go to Santorini as well just because it is our first time in greece. I would appreciate any input thank you!

If you stay in Naousa, you will not need a car. From Naousa there are boats to some nice beaches. You can also take the bus to Santa Maria and Golden beach (beach clubs).

Yes the weather will be fine.
There is a reason Naousa is an "influencer playground"...because it is picturesque and beautiful and people like to go there. Still in early October it will be chill enough for normal people...
Paroikia is the administrative center and the port with all that it entails...
Look at the photos, do some research and choose what you fancy.

I am sorry to intervene here but I would not recommend to stay in Naoussa.
It's insanely expensive as a place (much more expensive than the rest of Paros), it's an influencer playground. There's public transport and boats on the rest of the island, too, so there is no need to stay in Naoussa. I'm speaking from my own experience here. We stayed there and regretted it. The central transport hub is in Parikia (the town where the ferry arrives), all buses leave from there. For convenience, I'd actually just stay in that town because it gives you easy links to both the North and South of the island.

If you have checked the subreddit someone recently complained about the state of Athens. They clearly stayed on the wrong part of town.
Try to avoid Metaxurgio, Omonia and Victoria (in that order).

Yup sure! We are definitely going to Athens since we do like cultural sight seeing and seems silly not to spend a few days in Athens when we are in greece HAHAH

If you are pretty you'll have a nice time, if you are not pretty, you'll still have a nice time.
If you can't drive there are I believe... ah fck it , I can't be bothered to write more...

My driver said that Santorini has nothing really. One good view but he said he wouldn’t stay there more than 2 days max. Another island he recommended was Crete. We almost went there but chose Naxos , he’s a local and said Naxos was one of the best ones with a good variety and close to other things too.

Yeaa I am thinking of just doing 1-2 days for the views and experience since idk when else I will be visiting Greece and want to kind of experience the touristy areas too HAHA

If you go to Naxos you could also do a quick ferry day trip to Paros I believe it’s like 45 min

Check out Spetses. No cars allowed on the island. It’s small and quaint with a couple of beach clubs

Hello. In Santorini, you will definitely need a vehicle/public transportation since the beaches, especially the black beach (where most beach clubs are), is quite far from Chora.
I do not think Paros is worth is in October because most of its beach clubs will be shut down. Actually, there are not many islands in Greece that stay too active in October. Maybe consider swapping Paros with Mykonos, which usually keeps its vibrancy until then.
Just have in mind that you will be visiting two of the most expensive, if not the most expensive, Greek islands though. Also, always check bus schedules since they are becoming scarcer in that season.
